The Elk P212S is a Supervised Remote Power Supply/Battery Charger, with a 12VDC output and up to 2 amps of current. This unit supervises both the AC power input and the rechargeable battery, reporting back any abnormal conditions to the Elk M1 Control over the RS485 four wire data bus. The P212S also has relay outputs for AC and low battery to allow stand-alone operation with other controls such as security, access, and CCTV products. Power can also be used from this unit to increase capacity of a control or to remotely power devices (motion detectors, keypads, zone expanders, sirens, and annunciators.).
