FireFighter Sensors with IQ Panels
If you have used or are planning on using the FireFighter from Universal Electronics (other brands: Interlogix, EcoLink) and the Qolsys IQ Panel, we want you to have this tech bulletin with instructions on how to program these with panels on more recent firmware. If you have had any issues programming the FireFighter module on a recent IQ panel, hopefully this will get you going in the right direction. Let us know if you have any questions.

Summary of Reported Observations and Resulting Issue:
The SLX-AD-T3 FireFighter sends a supervisory signal (every 72 minutes +/-10%); the Qolsys IQ4 control panel should register these incoming supervisory transmissions. Recently we have had reports from the field that the Qolsys IQ4 control panels with firmware release 3.3.1 onward may report a LOS/loss of supervision state within 24-72 hours when installing a GE/Interlogix compatible SLX-AD-T3 FireFighter.
